A very special indoor adventure world has been created at the Baby & Children’s Hotel Laurentius in Fiss, Austria – a place where children can playfully discover nature and the region’s special features. As an experienced play equipment manufacturer, our focus when planning and designing the playground was on creating a play landscape that is both aesthetically pleasing and offers high play value.
The indoor play world was designed to feel like a reflection of the Tyrolean mountains. High-quality play equipment is combined with creative ideas and a loving wooden design to create a fantastic world that will delight children and parents alike.

A large tree house takes center stage, inviting children to climb, hide and observe. It is more than just a piece of play equipment – it forms the heart of the facility and symbolizes adventure and security at the same time. The tree house is complemented by a robust tractor, which not only reflects the agricultural character of the region, but also provides an exciting backdrop for imaginative role play.
Numerous other elements have been placed around this central play equipment to make the play area varied and lively. A rock cave made of GRP with a crawl tube invites little explorers to go on an adventure. A tree trunk with a hole encourages motor skills and curiosity in equal measure, while an arched bridge challenges children’s balance and connects different play areas at the same time.
What makes this indoor playground special are the many small, carefully designed details that are reminiscent of Tyrolean nature. Flowers, hidden diamonds and animals such as beavers, marmots and a cow create an authentic atmosphere and stimulate the imagination. These elements are not just decoration, but have been deliberately designed so that they can be discovered through play.
The play equipment itself also picks up on regional themes: Balancing logs, logs for sitting on and a humorously designed seesaw animal in the shape of a frog provide variety and invite children to play together. A spider’s web and a chopping log with split wood extend the selection of movement and climbing elements that encourage children to develop their motor skills.
As with all projects, the focus was on first-class quality during production. The materials used are robust, durable and meet all safety and sustainability requirements. The entire playground equipment is designed so that it can be used reliably even when there is a lot of traffic.
The combination of excellent playground design and a clear thematic line makes this indoor playground a showcase project for successful playground planning. It combines regional identity with innovative play ideas and shows how versatile modern playground equipment manufacturers can be.
