The children’s and family hotel “Ulrichshof” stands for “Nature Family Design” and was looking for a play equipment manufacturer to create a modern, design-oriented indoor playground that did not look like a classic playground. The requirements were clear: an imaginative, natural play world that encourages children to discover, climb and play creatively. Our concept was convincing – and so the “Magic Forest” was born.
Every detail has been considered in the playground planning and design to create a magical yet challenging experience for children aged 5 to 14. Our playground equipment combines high quality materials with creative play values to create an environment that is both challenging and inspiring.
The playground equipment has been designed so that children can climb, balance and play across the entire play area without touching the ground. The focal point is the large discovery tree – a mystical tree that awakens curiosity. Children can reach the inside via a balance bridge with treads and a rope or through the ground-level entrance, where climbing ropes, a climbing tube made of stainless steel wire mesh, treads and colored acrylic lookouts await them. The branches of the tree extend over the entire play area and create a magical atmosphere with their canopy of leaves.
The “Tough Trail” dragon gorge is an obstacle course equipped with nets, climbing ropes, holding balls, balancing elements and climbing logs. Children can put their skills to the test and master new challenges. The design is based on well-known obstacle courses and integrates role-play elements: rough rocks, fire-breathing dragons and a hidden giant spider turn the dragon gorge into a real adventure.
Another highlight is the “Dragons Castle” castle complex, which impresses with its detailed design and many play features. Secret passages, a wobbly bridge and platforms take children to the various castle rooms, where they can discover a crackling fire, a magic mirror, a mysterious golden ball and a treasure chest with light effects. There are no limits to the imagination!
Of course, adventure slides are also a must. A winding spiral slide made of robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic ensures rapid descents and lots of fun.
