Sometimes it doesn’t take much space to create something special. At the Familotel Kaiserhof in Berwang, together with a dedicated, caring team, we have creatively expanded an existing passageway area – and turned it into a place that captivates and inspires children and makes family moments even more precious.
As an experienced play equipment manufacturer, it was a great pleasure for us to be involved in this https://www.kaiserhof.at/Projekt project. The collaboration with the Kaiserhof team was not only professional, but also cordial, open and based on mutual trust from the very beginning. Together, we developed a design concept that makes a big impact in a small space.
The newly created adventure area is not a classic indoor playground, but an imaginatively staged extension of a functional hotel area – with play value, atmosphere and great attention to detail.
Instead of a simple passageway, this is an adventure trail for little explorers: sounds of nature, a scent element, talking animals and interactive elements such as the pacifier tree or the bear cave with background music provide a multi-sensory experience that makes children curious and parents smile. The combination of targeted stimulation, high-quality workmanship and a clear design framework creates a balance between animation and tranquillity – exactly right for the hotel context.
The playground equipment and elements used were specially selected for indoor use and adapted to the room situation. From the robust wooden ball track to decorative animal figures and integrated seating elements – everything is designed to be functional, durable and child-friendly. The design level was also implemented with great sensitivity: Warm colors, natural materials and thematically coordinated illustrations create an inviting atmosphere.
This project shows how much can be achieved with a well thought-out idea and open cooperation – even beyond the large play areas. A simple passageway has been transformed into a place that amazes children, invites them to pause and remains functional at the same time.
