In the Ocean theme world, children can experience the exciting world of Hamburg’s port. A large container with climbing features forms the centerpiece, complemented by a crane, robust bollards, a ship-style seat box and hand-carved animals. The Ocean World creates a strong, regional moment of identification and is a highlight for families waiting for their trip.
The wind area invites visitors to explore aviation in a playful way. An airplane game, high wind turbines, a tower and a stylized plane pick up on elements of the airport world. As a playground manufacturer, it is important to us that each element is not only visually appealing, but also conveys well thought-out play values: Balancing, discovery, role play, motor development and thematic immersion. The Wind-Zone combines all of this – a modern indoor playground that unfolds its effect precisely where children experience the world of aviation directly.
The flora and fauna areas playfully reflect the nature around Hamburg. In the flora zone, we combined two solid wooden huts with climbing options, a varied balance route and cozy niches. The design is based on a natural wooden look, which is typical of our play space planning: warm, inviting and sustainable.
The fauna world is characterized by a large tree, some grasses, a varied balancing course and the hand-carved animal figures of a turtle and crocodile. This combination of movement, themed world and artistic wooden design makes the play area a place of discovery – perfect for families looking for a short breather at the airport.
All four play areas were designed in such a way that they complement each other harmoniously and at the same time represent independent play worlds. This clear structure creates an indoor playground that significantly enhances Hamburg Airport and sustainably increases the quality of stay for families.
